7 countries have been announced for Russian tourists to issue bank cards connected to foreign payment systems

Seven countries for issuing bank cards connected to foreign payment systems were named to Russian tourists. There, as the executive director of the Russian Association of Tour Operators (ATOR) Maya Lomidze told Interfax, Russian tour operators offer tourists special tours. The most popular are Armenia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

As the expert said, the interest in going abroad to issue debit cards of Visa and MasterCard payment systems has already reached its peak. However, there are still those who want to have debit cards that can work abroad, the demand for such trips in Russia remains.

Armenia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are the most popular countries for issuing bank cards. At the other extreme, as the country with the least demand, is Serbia. “Some travel companies have had to exclude Serbia from credit card tours due to high airfare,” said Maia Lomidze. At the same time, if a year ago tours were booked specifically to receive a card, now they prefer to order this service as an addition to the main tour package.

Among other countries where tourists can issue debit cards, experts named Turkey, also among countries of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus. As tourists were added, tourist applications take two to three days, and some banks in Belarus accept applications remotely. So, in general, tourists can issue debit cards in Armenia, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
