British tourists are increasingly choosing Sunny Beach, a popular Black Sea resort in Bulgaria, for crazy holidays and parties. And now the local police are complaining that they drink themselves to death, dress frankly and act as depraved as possible, reports the Dailystar.

After Amsterdam launched a campaign against tourists from the UK, lovers of reckless holidays began to look for a new place for bachelor parties, drunken parties and sex in clubs. Their attention was attracted by Bulgaria with cheap, by English standards, hotels, alcohol and entertainment. The local police are not happy with this choice.

Police officer Desislava Goranova spoke about her experience with British tourists: “In my opinion, the average British tourist looks like this: light skin, a little overweight, dressed as revealingly as possible, always very loud and covered in tattoos. Compared to other nationalities, British tourists are always very loud and cheerful. They like to have lively conversations.”

Her colleague, police officer Emil Tonchev, added that the British have a problem with alcohol: “The British cause a lot of problems because they don't know how to drink. Bulgarians drink brandy and British people drink beer. We don't get drunk on beer. But the British, coming to rest, lose their sense of proportion.”

The police do not like that British tourists regard Sunny Beach only as a place for debauchery and drunkenness, because the resort is known for its beautiful nature and stunning beaches. But the locals are only happy about the influx of the British. For them, this is a way to earn money, as well as dispel boredom after two years of a pandemic.
