Angry Russian tourist smashes a supermarket in a popular resort

In a popular resort town in Thailand, an angry Russian tourist single-handedly smashed an entire 7-Eleven supermarket. The man injured himself and the store's customers before he was detained by the police and sent to the hospital.

The incident took place in Pattaya in Chonburi province at 4:30 am on Monday, January 16, The Thaiger reported. A man wearing a white hemp leaf blazer and gray shorts reportedly walked into a 7-Eleven convenience store on Walking Street as a regular customer, grabbed a drink from the fridge, and then, for no good reason, started trashing the area and scatter food around the store. According to a supermarket employee, the violator of law and order did not finish this and began to pester customers with unknown requests, and then smashed the window to smithereens. The resulting fragments wounded a Russian and a 53-year-old employee. There was broken glass on the floor of the supermarket and everything was covered in blood.

Then, a traveler, who appeared to be 35-40 years old, ran out into the street, attacked the taxi driver and cut his eyebrow. Then he went to another supermarket of the same network, but did not destroy it, but only took a bottle of water and poured it on the wounds on his leg. At the same time, he spoke mercilessly to the sellers.

At the same time, 7-Eleven staff notified the police that a foreign tourist was rampaging on Walking Street. Law enforcement officers and rescuers went to capture him. Detaining an active tourist in a state of intoxication was not easy, because. he locked himself in the store and reacted negatively to any appeals. After some effort, the traveler was arrested. The Russian was bleeding, a piece of glass was sticking out of his leg, so rescuers took him to the hospital for treatment. The police did not say what charges the tourist would face after being discharged.

Recall that in August last year, a European traveler of unknown nationality walked around Bang Lamung in Pattaya completely naked, he was wearing nothing but a fanny pack, sandals and camera slung over the shoulder. He sang songs and demanded that everyone “meet God” – details here.
