The rating of the most hospitable countries in the world – that is, countries that are ready to accept tourists without a visa or with a simplified visa on arrival, was presented by experts from the Henley Passport Index. In the “highest” place in terms of hospitality, for example, were the Maldives, which are ready to receive tourists from 198 countries in this way – these are almost all countries of the world. Not far behind them are the popular Seychelles – 197 countries. Egypt, popular with our tourists, was in 31st place, Turkey – in 29th. Russia itself is in 66th place in this list – we provide visa-free entry to tourists from 63 countries and share this place with Brunei.
In total, by the way, there are 86 of these places in the list, and in the very last place were North Korea, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan. These countries do not give visa-free travel to anyone – and there are clearly no queues for those who want to. Before them – Macau, Libya, Eritrea and Bhutan – ready to let tourists from just three countries without a visa; moreover, Bhutan also takes considerable taxes from tourists.
As for the leaders, the first five places are distributed as follows:

- Seychelles, Togo, Uganda, Cape Verde, Mauritania, Suriname – 197 countries
- Palau, Dominica, Madagascar – 196 countries
- Malaysia – 195 countries
- Lesotho – 194 countries.
As for other countries popular with our tourists, for example, Sri Lanka is on 7 place, admitting tourists from 192 countries without any problems; Cuba – by 12, tourists from 178 countries are admitted; Turkey, as already mentioned, at 29 with a result of 121 countries; Egypt – 31 and 118 countries. The Dominican Republic is also located at 36 – 106 countries, at 41 – Israel – 99 countries, the United Arab Emirates and Thailand at 56 – 82 countries. In most of the listed directions, the Russians also use the right of “problem-free” entry.
Let's add that most of Europe, which is now closed to us, took 47th place. 92 countries enjoy the right to visa-free entry there.
