The attack on Istiklal Street in the Beyoglu district of Istanbul frightened both locals and tourists. The authorities are afraid of new victims. In this regard, the officials decided to dismantle the benches on Cumhuriyet Square in Antalya, where heavy foot traffic is recorded daily. Note that this is the main place in the resort town for celebrations, concerts and events, where numerous guests of the city and local residents also gather. On November 17, the benches were uprooted from concrete by the work teams and special equipment and taken to the warehouse of the municipality.

The police and bomb disposal specialists arrived at the scene, after the experts blocked the street and did not let people in. Luckily, the bag was empty.
