“Good news” sounded for Antalya from Russian airlines: two Russian carriers announced the expansion of their flight programs to Turkey, and primarily to Antalya, and for the entire autumn-winter season. According to Turkish media, we are talking about Red Wings and Azur Air.
N.B. Earlier, Turprom wrote that “Turkey was surprised at how full hotels are for September: demand has clearly changed.”
In particular, AZUR Air will continue to operate flights to Antalya from six in the autumn-winter season Russian cities: Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, Mineralnye Vody and Sochi. These flights will be used by tour operators ANEX Tour and Intourist.
Red Wings will also expand its flight program to Turkey in the winter season. Flights from Kazan and Ufa have been announced. In particular, flights from Kazan to Antalya and Istanbul are planned until March 30, 2023. Flights to Antalya will be operated from Ufa once a week on Saturdays.
As the Turkish media assure, the possibility of flying abroad with direct flights from there are few Russian tourists, so the demand for Antalya is expected to be good. In addition, Turkey is planned to be used as a hub for long-haul programs with a transfer in Antalya.
