The Turkish carrier will continue to operate flights to Turkey directly from the Russian city via EU airspace. We are talking about extending the agreement on Turkish Airlines (THY) charter flights from Kaliningrad. Alexander Korytny, General Director of Khrabrovo International Airport in Kaliningrad, told TASS about this.
According to him, the airport and the leadership of the Turkish national carrier agreed to extend the program of charter flights to Antalya until the end of March 2023. The initiative, moreover, came from Turkish Airlines. At the same time, flights are carried out directly from Kaliningrad to the EU airspace. We also note that in the summer season, these charter flights were operated by Anadolu Jet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines.
Flights will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays from November 20 to March 24, 2023. Passengers will be transported by Boeing-737 liners with a capacity of 189 passengers.
