Two Russian tourists got into a fight on beach in Pattaya after one of the men insulted the Thai girl of the other. The conflict took place with the use of dangerous weapons – a hammer and brass knuckles.
The incident occurred on November 22 at 23:00 pm on Yinyom Beach on Phra Tamnak Road in the Bang Lamung area in Pattaya. Soon the police arrived at the scene and quickly dealt with the participants in the fight.
According to a police report, 49-year-old D. insulted a Thai woman who was a girlfriend of 30-year-old Russian V., The Thaiger reported. Insulting the first became the reason for a showdown between men. Then the verbal skirmish turned into a bloody fight. Defending the honor of his Thai girlfriend, V. used a hammer and brass knuckles to teach the enemy a lesson.
Unfortunately, the details of the insult or the state of D. after the attack with a dangerous weapon are not known. However, both men were charged with violating article 295 of the Criminal Code: causing bodily or mental harm to other people. They can face jail terms of up to two years, a fine of up to about 6,800 rubles, or both.
