Mediterranean country, which invited Russian tourists, changed the entry rules

Tunisia, a popular Mediterranean country for Russian tourists, consistently simplifies the conditions for the entry of tourists and removes “covid” barriers. At the moment, the simplification of the rules has affected unvaccinated tourists – the quarantine requirement has been removed from them.

According to the Tunisia tourism office, we are talking about the requirement to undergo a five-day quarantine for unvaccinated tourists. Now the unvaccinated can also arrive in the country and move freely. For entry, they only need a negative PCR test result made 48 hours before the trip, or a rapid test made no earlier than 24 hours before departure.

Vaccinated, respectively, will require a certificate of vaccination, with any Russian or foreign vaccine. At the same time, children under 18 can travel freely.

Recall that direct flights with Tunisia have not yet been resumed, although such negotiations are underway – but how long they will last and whether they will succeed is unknown. At the moment, the main way to get to Tunisia is through Istanbul, Dubai or Cairo. One-way tickets for June start from 52 thousand rubles. per person.
