Where to go in August? As it turned out, almost 95% of beach tours in Russia by mid-August were sold to only five countries. Moreover, of the five cheapest sea destinations, three are located in Russia. Interestingly, Antalya did not get there – cheap tours to Turkey were sorted out long ago and reliably, the remaining offers from Turkey overtake even such non-budget countries as the UAE and Bahrain in price. But the price of non-beach Istanbul goes down. Such statistics, referring to the ratings of travel agencies, were presented in ATOR.
First, the experts presented the TOP-5 sales by country as of mid-August and their changes compared to previous periods. First of all, the share of Turkey increased from 59.7% to 62%. The share of domestic tourism has declined somewhat – to 16%, the main reason is that all popular places in Russian resorts are sold out. The share of Abkhazia also slightly decreased, for the same reasons. The share of Egypt in mid-August is stable – at the level of 7%, but the UAE has grown from 3.3% to 4.4% – and this is largely due to good prices.
At the same time, prices are not cheap – below 100 thousand tours can only be bought to Russia and Abkhazia, and in Russia these are tours to Kaliningrad and Sochi. The price there is from 62 thousand rubles to 79 thousand rubles. The increase in prices over the week is small – in Kaliningrad it increased by 4%, and in Sochi it even fell slightly – by only 1%. In Crimea, by the way, it is growing, but also not very noticeable – from 32 thousand rubles to 35 thousand rubles for a 10-day tour.
As for the “far” abroad, there are no prices below 100 thousand. Surprisingly, at the bottom bar – up to 150 thousand, were the UAE – Sharjah with prices at the level of about 112 thousand rubles, as well as Bahrain – about 137 thousand rubles, and, more expectedly – Egypt with prices from 145 thousand rubles . At the same time, for the same Egypt, the price increase was about 10%.
But the “unsold” tours to beach Turkey exceeded the 150 thousand mark with a margin – the prices for the remaining tour packages for August balance about 220 thousand. This is more expensive than, for example, Sri Lanka – 209 thousand rubles.
But excursion Turkey is available at a price below 100 thousand rubles. – the price of Istanbul continues to fall, the starting price of a 10-day sightseeing tour is about 67 thousand rubles, which is cheaper than flying to Abkhazia or Sochi on the same dates. But the “relax tours” to Kavminvody have stepped over the bar of 100 thousand and reached almost 120 thousand rubles.
